The mission of the Academy of Entrepreneurship is:

• To provide students with both the business and interpersonal skills required to successfully manage a business of any size.
• To increase the effectiveness of students’ communication and presentation skills.
• To prepare students for post-secondary options.
• To develop financial literacy and knowledge of investment strategies

Entrepreneurs:

• Identify opportunities and take calculated risks
• Turn personal interests (e.g. music, fashion, computer skills, horticulture) and hobbies into opportunities to earn money
• Become leaders in their community
• Create personal financial health and wealth

The Entrepreneurship Academy includes activities and events such as:

• The New York City Wholesale Fair
• The Blair Investor's Club
• Business internships
• Regional and national business plan competitions
• In-school work opportunities such as the MCT  Credit Union in-school bank branch, the school store, and event concessions.
