The mission of the Academy of Science, Math, & Technology is:
- To provide students with the technological, scientific, mathematical, research, and problem-solving skills needed in science, math and technology.
- To promote student enthusiasm, confidence, exploration and collaboration.
Six different strands within the Science, Math, & Technology Academy have been designed to guide students in a selection of courses based on their background and preparation, and to build upon their strengths and individual interests. To complete the program in a particular strand, students will earn at least 3 credits in Academy-approved courses for that strand, and will present a capstone experience demonstrating their accomplishments. Faculty mentorship will assist all students in completion of this process. The Science Math, & Technology strands are:
- Math
- Physical Science
- Life Science
- Engineering
- Computer Programming
- Computer Networking
